Jacket Crown

Strong and Natural-Looking

Your smile is personal and unique to you. Jacket crowns or dental crowns, are a type of dental restoration that completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant.

They are typically bonded to the tooth using dental cement. The materials we use at Dentaflix are are not only strong and durable, but also mimic the appearance of natural teeth to give you a beautiful and natural-looking smile.

What Are The Steps To Getting Your Jacket Crowns?

Tooth Preparation

The first step is to remove some of your natural enamel to create space for the crown. This process may also involve removing any decay and shaping the tooth so that it will fit the crown properly.

Dental Impressions

Next, your dentist will take impressions of your teeth. These impressions are used to create a mold, which is then used to fabricate your custom-made crown.

Final Crown Placement

While your permanent crown is being made, which usually takes two to three weeks, a temporary crown is placed on your tooth.

Once your permanent crown is ready, your dentist will remove the temporary crown and cement the permanent crown onto your tooth.
